Announcement: The Lion Project

Since early 2020, Charles has been working with The Lion Project, bringing his expertise in the field of architecture to support local initiatives. Being able to be of service to underserved communities is a passion of his. The Lion Project brings together the business community and creatives to leverage their resources to support nonprofits, these are often in the form of 'sweat equity' events, or service days, with skilled trades people leading the day.  The organization uses videography to then tell and share the story of these non-profits, and the collaborative work for them, with the world.  The program focus for 2022 has been supporting Foster Families in need.

In addition to regularly participating in service days, most recently, Charles provided the drawings for a basement remodel at the Samantha House, where two foster parents with three foster children want to take in a teen. In order to do this, the family would need to be able to provide a separate bed, bath and closet. Charles also created the drawings for a deck replacement for a a single foster care father.
